We hebben heerlijk gegeten, laat daarover geen misverstand bestaan, maar ik verwacht eerlijk gezegd meer van een sterrenrestaurant. Zo vonden wij de wijn bij het voorgerecht (wijnarrangement, dus speciaal gekozen) uit balans wat betreft smaak. Maar vooral de bediening was te nonchalant. Vriendelijk, maar afwezig. Gasten die later binnen kwamen werden eerder bediend, gevraagde drankjes leken te worden vergeten en kwamen laat, zoetje bij de koffie moest voor de derde maal gevraagd worden toen de rekening al werd gebracht. Jammer, want meer sterrenrestaurant heeft Den Haag niet -)

Prima prijs-kwaliteit. Dit sterren restaurant laat zich niet kennen tijdens de restaurant week. Een uitstekende lunch, en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Het eten was super, mooi uitgebalanceerd, prachtig van smaak en de opmaak stuk voor stuk plaatjes.
Ik ben zwanger en in plaats van vlees kreeg ik een heel mooi stukje tong met schaaldieren/ safraan jus en artisjokkenpuree. Heel goed dat ook hier veel aandacht aan werd besteed dat heb ik wel eens anders mee gemaakt.

Met 4 personen bij Callla's gegeten. Ivm reputatie van een Michelin ster, hoge verwachtingen. Deze zijn tijdens ons eten niet geheel waargemaakt helaas.

Een zeer prettig en aangename sfeer, sublieme inrichting en decor. Vriendelijke jonge service, maar niet erg kundig of professioneel. Zeer korte toelichting bij de gerechten met eigenlijk alleen basis-informatie. Passie om over de gerechten te vertellen ontbrak een beetje.

Toelichting bij ons vegetarische gerecht: ''Risotto met vleesjus'' kwam opmerkelijk over.

Kwaliteit van de gerechten was prima, maar niet uitstekend. Alleen het dessert sprong er goed en creatief uit.

Hoewel het een heerlijke avond was, en we een erg goede tafel hadden, vonden we het alle 4 tegenvallen en hebben we vaker beter gegeten bij restaurants zonder ster! Helaas!

Alleraardigste ontvangst door Dhr van der Kleijn zelf,leuk dat hij de tijd neemt om zijn gasten persoonlijk te begroeten en een praatje te maken.Prachtige keuken en inrichting,de calla's ontbraken door tijdgebrek vernamen wij.Wij werden verrast door de subtiele smaken van de amuses, hoofdgerecht en het dessert en trouwens ook door het door ons gekozen wijn arrangement! De wijnen die geschonken werden hadden alledrie een bijzondere en uitgesproken smaak die prima bij de gerechten pasten.Ook de sommelier was heel vriendelijk en wist ons veel te vertellen,hij had duidelijk kennis van zaken.Prettige en nette bediening.Kortom, wij hebben genoten,een aanrader dus!

At the urban restaurant Calla's *, great value is placed on regional products. Many of the fresh vegetables and herbs come from the own vegetable garden 'Laantje Voorham'. The vegetable garden is hidden in the greenery of Wassenaar and has a special cultivation plan to provide the various crops for the kitchen of Callas * during the different seasons.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

No, for most restaurants you don't have to pay upfront when you make a reservation.
Some restaurants only accept reservations with a small down payment, this is clearly indicated when making a reservation.

2. I want to cancel my reservation but I do not have my confirmation email. What can I do?

4. What is the National Restaurant Week?

During the National Restaurant Week you can enjoy a fantastic 3-course dinner at the best 600 restaurants in the Netherlands for only € 29.95 per person. The National Restaurant Week is organized twice a year, in the spring and in the fall.

5. I'm following a special diet, can this be taken into account?

Restaurants are happy to take your dietary requirements into account. You can indicate this in the comments on the booking form.

6. Are drinks included in the menu price?

Drinks are not included in de menu price. Only, if its clearly stated in de deal description.

7. How can I change my reservation?

That's no problem! You can make changes by using the 'change' link in your confirmation mail or login into your account.

8. Is cancelling free of charge?

Yes, you can always cancel free of charge.

If you have paid a deposit, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. Your deposit will then be automatically refunded to your account. Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the restaurant will keep your deposit to cover the cost of the table. We are independent of this, any problems caused by this must be resolved in communication with the restaurant.
