In een oude nachtclub met een prettige sfeer staan een aantal comfortabele banken met tafeltjes. De ruimte is intiem. Elk gerecht ziet er spectaculair uit, smaakt verrassend, is subtiel van smaak en vooral heerlijk.
De bediening is enthousiast, betrokken en trots op de kwaliteit van het eten. Elk gerecht was uitstekend. Absolute toppers de kreeft, het rabarber dessert en de beeldschone witte chocolade ster met ijs en uitgebalanceerde saus van citrusvruchten en gele paprika. Alle gerechten waren een lust voor het oog en tongstrelend. Op naar de eerste ster eind november!

The twelve courses served were all delicious, the service perfect and the atmosphere very stylish and elegant. On top, the timing of the service was great - we did not need to spend hours for the food to arrive. A very pleasant experience indeed.

Na een schurende entree, werden we heerlijk verwend met 13 gerechtjes. Stuk voor stuk pareltjes: visueel aantrekkelijk en tongstrelend. Er zat een prima vaart in en de bediening was vriendelijk, attent en doorgaans professioneel. Er werd tot aan de friandises rekening gehouden met onze wensen. De gerechten waren bomvol smaak, verrassend en vernieuwend zonder tot gimmick te verworden. De wijnen zijn prijzig maar ook de huisselectie waren rijk en pasten perfect bij de gangen. Relatief duur maar onvergetelijk!

Graphite* is the first speakeasy restaurant in the Netherlands and is located in the Paardenstraat near Rembrandtplein. The restaurant is mysterious and hard to find. So you have to look for a door with a scanner and take your QR code with you.

The setting in the restaurant is reminiscent of bars at the time of the American reclamation. An intimate yet spacious restaurant with a clubby atmosphere, loud music and dimmed lights. A mysterious environment.

Chef Peter Gast has earned his spurs in the past 16 years as chef of restaurant 't Schultenhues in Zutphen. He prepares classic dishes and refined sauces and combines these with inventive ideas.

In 2020 Graphite was awarded 1 Michelin star and in total they have 16 Gault&Millau points.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

No, for most restaurants you don't have to pay upfront when you make a reservation.
Some restaurants only accept reservations with a small down payment, this is clearly indicated when making a reservation.

2. I want to cancel my reservation but I do not have my confirmation email. What can I do?

If you have lost the confirmation, please email to [email protected] with your reservation details.

3. How can I write a review?

Once you have made your reservation, you will automatically receive an e-mail with an invitation to share your gastronomic experience with the restaurant in a review. Click on 'leave a review' in the e-mail and here you can write a review about the restaurant you have visited.

4. What is the National Restaurant Week?

During the National Restaurant Week you can enjoy a fantastic 3-course dinner at the best 600 restaurants in the Netherlands for only € 29.95 per person. The National Restaurant Week is organized twice a year, in the spring and in the fall.

5. I'm following a special diet, can this be taken into account?

Restaurants are happy to take your dietary requirements into account. You can indicate this in the comments on the booking form.

6. Are drinks included in the menu price?

Drinks are not included in de menu price. Only, if its clearly stated in de deal description.

7. How can I change my reservation?

That's no problem! You can make changes by using the 'change' link in your confirmation mail or login into your account.

8. Is cancelling free of charge?

Yes, you can always cancel free of charge.

If you have paid a deposit, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. Your deposit will then be automatically refunded to your account. Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the restaurant will keep your deposit to cover the cost of the table. We are independent of this, any problems caused by this must be resolved in communication with the restaurant.
