Would you like to get acquainted with Restaurant The White Room*?
We have put together a fantastic introductory menu for you for €99 per person (excluding beverages). This menu will introduce you to several dishes from the kitchen style of our chef de cuisine, Tristan de Boer. He employs a very fresh, elegant, and light style with powerful flavors and respect for Mother Nature.
Amsterdam has historically been a melting pot of cultures. Tristan, a born and raised Amsterdammer, brings these cultures together in his balanced dishes. He draws influences from Suriname, Indonesia, Thailand, as well as Japan and China. He is inspired by all these cultures that collectively form Amsterdam's culture.
We have also crafted a fully vegetarian* menu, which offers a highly innovative and certainly no less delicious experience even for non-vegetarians!

First time in the White Room and we were not disappointed. A warm welcome, excellent food and excellent service. Great choice by the chefs of ingredients for their dishes, perfect wine pairing with the dishes.

Weet niet of ik het precies goed vertel wat hij ermee gedaan heeft, maar laat wel zien welke ingrediënten de chef gebruikt heeft voor dit nagerecht.
Eten was goed. De borden waren mooi gedecoreerd. Lekker, alleen te veel zure schotels geserveerd. Ik had ook kip of beef verwacht. Helaas. Het is een mooie restaurant. Service en sfeer was goed. We hebben het gezellig. Dank u.

Jacob Jan Boerma is at the helm of The White Room team. The team that implements its vision in Amsterdam is led by Chef de Cuisine Tristan de Boer and Maître Bram Hommes. Together with them, Boerma wants to touch a wide audience with a style that is in his heart.
3* Michelin Chef Jacob Jan Boerma, known for 'De Leest***', is at the helm of The White Room team. The experienced Chef de Cuisine Tristan de Boer cooks under his signature. The wonderful ingredients and fresh style of de Boer ensure a perfect combination with the sour flavors and spices that Boerma is known for.
The name The White Room is derived from the historic name 'De Witte Zaal', which was given the space when it opened in 1885. The current restaurant is considered the oldest restaurant in Amsterdam, where original styles are still preserved. Thanks to the refined and modern styling, history and present are seamlessly connected here.
The White Room is part of NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, the first NH Collection hotel of NH Hotel Group in the Netherlands. NH Collection is the upper-upscale brand of NH Hotel Group, in which gastronomy plays a very prominent role.
The restaurant was awarded 1 Michelin star in 2017 and has 15 Gault&Millau points.
