Mooi restaurant met een gezellige sfeer en goede bediening. Het eten was erg goed alleen de combinaties van smaken vond ik niet altijd kloppen.

"Heerlijk en verrassend gegeten"

We hebben hier tijdens de restaurantweek gegeten en waren bijzonder positief verrast.
Goed samengesteld diner. Keuken heeft laten zien wat ze kan (en dat is veel!) Prachtig opgemaakte borden, veel verschillende en verrassende smaken binnen 1 gerecht. Service was goed, niet te formeel. Wij komen zeker hier terug. Een aanrader!

Wij hebben heerlijk geluncht bij Ratatouille. Wij kenden dit restaurant nog niet en zijn afgegaan op foto's en recensies. De Restaurantweek vinden wij een leuke gelegenheid om een voor ons nieuw restaurant te leren kennen en bij dit restaurant waren we anders nooit gekomen. Het restaurant ziet er van buiten wat onopvallend uit en de inrichting oogt niet zo bijzonder. Het heeft meer wat weg van een eetcafé dan van een chique restaurant. Het was niet druk, er waren nog twee andere tafels bezet. De sfeer was prettig en ontspannen.
De bediening was uitstekend. We werden goed geadviseerd over de wijn en men was op de hoogte van onze eetwensen en hield daar rekening mee.
De amuse zag er mooi uit en was leuk gepresenteerd. Wanneer je de macaron van rode biet en de madeleine met blauwe kaas op had, zat er onder een dekseltje nog een derde verrassing.
Het voorgerecht was gemarineerde zalm in borsjt. de zalm was zacht van structuur en verfijnd van smaak, lekker met wat knapperige groente er omheen.
Het hoofdgerecht was gegrilde zeebaars met daarbij aardappel en champignon. De zeebaars was perfect!
Het dessert was een warm chocolade taartje met ijs en ananassaus en een karamelwafeltje.
Wij vonden de gerechten erg lekker. Prima smaakcombinaties!
Wij hebben een heerlijke middag gehad en raden dit restaurant zeker aan. Dit restaurant verdiend meer bekendheid!

Niets dan lof over Ratatouille. We hebben gebruik gemaakt van de Restaurant Week-aanbieding en werden getrakteerd op een verrassingsmenu dat ook daadwerkelijk bestond uit alleen maar verrassingen, positieve verrassingen welteverstaan! We begonnen met drie originele en uiterst smaakvolle amuses, waarvan met name de macaron van biet en foie gras een 10+ gerechtje. Vervolgens werd er een net zo origineel voorgerecht geserveerd: zacht gegaarde zalm. Ook het hoofdgerecht zag er prachtig uit, was verfijnd en uiterst smakelijk. Het nagerecht van het RW-arrangement hebben wij verruild voor een mooi kaasplankje. De bediening is vriendelijk, de ambiance is warm. Al met al is Ratatouille een aanwinst voor Haarlem en een aanrader voor iedereen die van verrassingen houdt!

Restaurant Ratatouille Food & Wine is situated on the spaarne in Haarlem at a beautiful location. The restaurant is located in a building full of character and attractively decorated. The restaurant is characterised by its accessible environment and the excellent price-quality ratio and is just like ratatouille a mix of French cuisine.

Michelin called Restaurant Ratatouille Food & Wine an example for the new generation of chefs and restaurant at the award ceremony of their first star: less expensive, less rigid, and more accessible. All the dishes are prepared to perfection with surprising taste palettes.

Chef Joshua Jaring likes to surprise you with colours and shapes and pays a lot of attention to the preparation of the plates. This time and again creates curiosity and a wow effect for the guest, making classic flavours very interesting! Jozue combines home-grown products with international flavours.

There is also a choice of more than 460 sublime wines from the enormously extensive wine list. Come and enjoy a delicious lunch or an amazing dinner and be taken into the culinary world of the chef.

The restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star in 2014. They received 16 Gault&Millau points.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

No, for most restaurants you don't have to pay upfront when you make a reservation.

During the National Restaurant Week you can enjoy a fantastic 3-course dinner at the best 600 restaurants in the Netherlands for only € 29.95 per person. The National Restaurant Week is organized twice a year, in the spring and in the fall.

5. I'm following a special diet, can this be taken into account?

Restaurants are happy to take your dietary requirements into account. You can indicate this in the comments on the booking form.

6. Are drinks included in the menu price?

Drinks are not included in de menu price. Only, if its clearly stated in de deal description.

7. How can I change my reservation?

That's no problem! You can make changes by using the 'change' link in your confirmation mail or login into your account.

8. Is cancelling free of charge?

Yes, you can always cancel free of charge.

If you have paid a deposit, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. Your deposit will then be automatically refunded to your account. Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the restaurant will keep your deposit to cover the cost of the table. We are independent of this, any problems caused by this must be resolved in communication with the restaurant.
