All tastes and spices are very well mixed. This place may satisfy all, vegan, vegeterian and especially the meat lovers. The fishes and shrimps were also finger licking good. ( I actually did lick my fingers...) We were served a nice seafood soup as a starter, followed by a base mixed vegetable couscous for each, a lamb and a fish plate. The dessert was a piece of art for my taste. Not a very casual but quite cosy and friendly atmosphere. Needless to add the charming surrounding hip atmosphere of Westergasfabrik. The service was quick and very friendly. We will most probably become regular guests. Thank you.

He explained the menu and also introduced us to his philosophy about the food and the restaurant. We trusted him on what to order and he totally delivered. What makes food excellent, is not only high quality ingredients but also love and care and in rainarai they know this secret very well! Excellent couscous, tender tagine chicken and lamb, fresh salads. What I liked was the flexibility of the menu; I didn't feel trapped by predetermined choices. I was also pleasantly surprised by the hand made bread, hummus and aeoli. Some plates were a bit spicy or oily, but that's a matter of taste. Finally the chocolate figs... impossible to describe. We left fully satisfied and felt really lucky to have made such a discovery in our few-days-Amsterdam adventure.

Wij komen zeker terug, bedankt!
