"Zeer lekker en verrassende gerechten met dito wijnen."

Voor de tweede keer gegeten bij de Slotplaats en weer van een 6 gangen diner genoten. (met nog 2 amuses) Wederom zeer verrassende gerechten met lekkere wijnen die steeds vaker uit Nederland komen. Echt de hele avond genoten. De bediening was plezierig en ongedwongen. Chef Jouke kwam ook nog informeren hoe de avond was. Nog steeds een aanrader.

Ik kan niet anders dan alles 5 sterren scoren! Ik heb op niets iets aan te merken. We hebben heerlijk gegeten in een prachtige omgeving in een hele mooie oude boerderij. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en er werd goed uitgelegd wat er op ons bord geserveerd lag. Het eten was verrukkelijk en werd mooi opgediend. Ik heb dingen geprobeerd die ik anders niet zo snel zou kiezen van de kaart en heb alles smaakvol opgegeten. We gaan hier zeker nog een keer naar terug!

Wat wij verwachten als een culinaire avond viel helaas tegen. Allereerst de aankomst was pikkedonker. De parkeerplaats was niet verlicht. Je kon dan ook echt niets zien. Met je goede goed stapte je uit in diepe plassen water en de weg naar het restaurant stond grotendeels onderwater. Bij binnenkomst werden wij niet opgevangen of te woord gestaan. Wij hebben zelf aan een meisje in de bediening ons kenbaar gemaakt. Direct de melding gedaan van de verlichting en het water, de meid keek als een hert in koplampen.
Voor het bedrag, ruim 200 euro wat wij kwijt waren was het eten ok/ goed maar niet spectaculair. De smaak van een product overheerste en de wijnkeuze was summier. Wij hebben flink gespaard voor dit etentje en de verwachtingen lagen hoog, misschien te hoog. De minderjarige kinderen die in de keuken liepen was een bijzonder tafereel. Ergens huiselijk maar dan meer voor een eetcafe. De deal van dinningcity slaat nergens op want de totaal korting was 5 euro. Helaas niet de verwachting die wij van dit restaurant hadden.

The Slotplaats Bakkeveen is an age-old estate with a renovated castle farm. It is a place full of history. Unwind completely in the impressive gardens and woods that surround the estate. Not only the surroundings contribute to the entire experience. For example, on your plate you will taste different taste sensations with products that come from the backyard. Fresh wild garlic, sweet chestnuts, an oil of spruce or a pesto of nettle. Chef Jouke picks his ingredients daily on the estate. The menu therefore changes every week.

The Slotplaats Bakkeveen also takes dietary requirements into account. They offer several vegetarian, vegan alternatives and gluten- and lactose-free options. {restaurant_name} is also fully wheelchair accessible.

4. What is the National Restaurant Week?

During the National Restaurant Week you can enjoy a fantastic 3-course dinner at the best 600 restaurants in the Netherlands for only € 29.95 per person. The National Restaurant Week is organized twice a year, in the spring and in the fall.

5. I'm following a special diet, can this be taken into account?

Restaurants are happy to take your dietary requirements into account. You can indicate this in the comments on the booking form.

6. Are drinks included in the menu price?

Drinks are not included in de menu price. Only, if its clearly stated in de deal description.

7. How can I change my reservation?

That's no problem! You can make changes by using the 'change' link in your confirmation mail or login into your account.

8. Is cancelling free of charge?

Yes, you can always cancel free of charge.

If you have paid a deposit, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. Your deposit will then be automatically refunded to your account. Please note that if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the restaurant will keep your deposit to cover the cost of the table. We are independent of this, any problems caused by this must be resolved in communication with the restaurant.
